N/A Subaru Gutless?

Post by Trizor » Sun Aug 14, 2011 11:01 pm

Hi guys, I'm a newbie here so if I do something wrong please forgive me. I'm wondering if a naturally aspirated Subaru Impreza would be gutless. Looking at Imprezas in the 2000 - 2005 era.
Thanks, Tristan.

Depends if you get one with the 2.0l or 2.5l They are both ok. I have the same 2.0l engine in my Forester and it does the job even being a bigger, heavier, higher car. But I have been in an Outback with the same 2.5l and they are really quick, defernately not gutless. 0-100 in around 9 seconds. For a 4cylinder N/A thats pretty good.

But since the impreza is smaller and light either engine would do. but if your comparing it to a wrx, commodore or anything with a bigger engine or turbocharged then of course it will seem gutless.

Compare it to a stock L series... Then see what you reckon about the Impreza in the 2 litre format ;)
