Just got myself a new(Used) Liberty! :)

Post by AlanB » Mon Jun 27, 2011 9:33 pm

Just bought a 1996 Subaru Liberty GX Will post pics up tomorrow.
I'm not sure if this is AWD or FWD but it is a beast for a daily car!
Don't know if it was a bargain but it was $1,500 + 12 month warranty from a dealer.
It drove quite well when i drove and everything worked perfectly just a little bit of dents here and there.

Welcome, get off your lazy ass & look underneath, it'll have a rear diff & a tail shaft going back to it from the box.

Being a '96 mode and if I was a betting man, l I would bet my left nut that its AWD - subaru had stopped producing 2wd subi's at this point as far as I know.

Nah, 99% sure it was 98 before it wasn't an option..........but I have been known to be wrong....once.

But being a GX it'll more than likely be one, LX's were usually fwd

Welcome AlanB :) I believe you've had enough time to get those pics up
You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.
