Hi guys,
have been chasing a condensor for the brumby retro fit for many months now. have not had one single bit of success and as the brumby (now known as "Jack") is on the trailer ready to go to paint I am going to need it pretty soon for the install.
So desperate measures now....does anyone know where I can get one...whether it be new or 2nd hand or even whether there is a place I can get one reconditioned.
Cheers again

Problem will be matching it to the AC system you've got in there/ready to go in. I believe there were three different system setups used in the MY's - you need the condenser that matches the pipework of the AC system you've got...
Hard to say where you'll get one from. It's not hard to add the condenser in there when the car is all back together, I did it with Sunnie the Brumby - the AC system didn't have a condenser for a good 9 months or so. I think I removed the radiator to put it in though.
Keep scrounging the parts yards - and have a photo with you of the pipes that join up to the condenser to make sure you've got the right one when you come across it
Cheers

Yes these guys are awesome - drop them a line. The boss there really knows his stuff about the older Subarus.

Cheers for that freddo and Matt, I have actually got the one that came with the kit it is just busted so that should at least make matching them up a bit easier. I have not heard of those guys matt so I will definitely give them a try
Cheers
