Liberty Clock/trip computer problems

Post by FortyW » Thu Jun 02, 2011 8:33 am

I recently replaced my broken clock in my 2004 Liberty. The original measured km/l and consumption would avg around 9.5-10. This one seems to measure L/100km and from my initial (very brief) use is showing around 20L/100km avg consumption. The measurement indicators (eg. fuel to empty, L/100km for both avg consumption and current consumption) of the guage are constantly flashing also.
I suspect this clock is meant for a later model. Does anyone know whether it can be made to work properly?

I don't think so.
There's a thread on liberty.asn.au about people fixing/soldering the old ones and I remember reading about someone trying to change the display to read other measurements.
Have a search over there, should be easy to find.
