Time someone showed Giles just how big our continent is! Probably still 32 in Darwin.
That sort of snow and mud...always end up having to replace my front wheel bearings after play time due to sals not sealing as well when cold :(

Giving it some serious thought to actually come and find out how big your ''Island'' actually is myself !
Wont be for at least 2 years though due to whats already planned :(

My friend spent 3 weeks in Oz recently and has kinda given me the heads up on its size.
Its kinda the fact that all the TV stuff we see here always shows sunshine, arrid deserts and mountains or beaches (full of cute totty ) oh and a big bloody red rock stuck in the middle of nowhere !

Please dont tell me this is all wrong !

To put some perspective on the size of our... island, as you call it

To travel from Darwin at the top, to Melbourne at the bottom is 3,757 km (about 1 day and 20 hrs of continuous driving). And to travel from Perth in the west to Brisbane in the east, is 4,334 km
Current rides: 2016 Mitsubishi Triton GLS & 2004 Forester X
Ongoing Project/Toy: 1987 RX Turbo EA82T, Speeduino ECU, Coil-pack ignition, 440cc Injectors, KONI adjustale front struts, Hybrid L Series/ Liberty AWD 5sp
Past rides: 92 L series turbo converted wagon, 83 Leone GL Sedan, 2004 Liberty GT Sedan & 2001 Outback

Or put another way ....... about as big as Europe !

Yup big old playground you guys have down there (we dont really think you bounce about with kangaroos - honest !)

In the UK we have 65 + million people squeezed onto a small island. You guys with all that space - 30 million is it ?
From Halifax where I live its 1 hour to east or west coast (approx 70 miles) 8 hours to the top of Scotland (approx 300miles??) 4 hours to the English south coast (approx 250 miles) 7 hours down to Lands end - Cornwall.(approx 300 miles) Tiny really !

Oh and the only Kangaroos we have live in Zoo's too !
