ea82turbo tacho question

just wanting to hear from other owners of ea82turbo cars...

When you turn the key to 'on' does that tacho do a little 'jump'?

just wondering if it is normal, just getting my new one going & its been years since I had my last one and I can't remember what it did...

Not normal, possible battery Fuse issue.
