Idea's for brumby rear bumper

Post by Backyard_Brumby » Wed Mar 16, 2011 7:39 pm

Hi guys,

finally making some headway on the brumby project, the metre of water that went through the house put a bit of a halt to the progress. anyway we pretty much have everything lined up however the rear bumper has some existing damage...ie the bumperette style thing has been broken off and the metal reinforcement behind it squashed forward.

So has anyone done anything a bit different or custom for something more substantial on the rear bar?

failing that does anyone have those bumperette things they would like to sell/get rid of.

Cheers again

very nice...that would be about perfect. Is this another master piece to come out of your shed? no chance you happen to have a spare one :-P

The last "spare" one we had, was a wagon one that we modified for a friend's Brumby (tailgate on wagon and ute are different widths). That one even had the tyre swinger built in...

We've made a few of them now, with minor differences just for personal preference of the owner.

If only I possessed half your ability with steel I would be incredibly happy...you guys seem to achieve things that even money can't buy...really changing the functionality and aesthetics of the old subies ( too bad you weren't in the design of them out of the factory)

Hey Steve or Rick.. you wouldn't have a pic of that spare wheel mod?
