Why would anyone do this ?
Its sat in a dealer showroom in Manchester New Hampshire USA.
It would be as useful as a chocolate tea cup in (Rainy) Manchester UK

Plus there are lot's of naughty people there with stanley knives and deep ingrained jealousy.
What a waste of an otherwise superb car !

Its awful truly awful !

The Impretzar would be better if it was a 2dr but that poor Brumby has been butchered.. now just one question, would that have an engine in the front or rear?

Thought someone (even thought it would be you Paul or Jules) would ask that !
It actually has both engines ...........and you must see the selllers comments about this !
Check out this link for some truly twisted 'humour' from the seller (he is actually dead serious !)

I stabbed a pen in my eye as the pain was less than looking at that advert....
The Brumby - an aussie (c/- Japan) icon.
The Bettle - arguably the world's most successful car.
The two together brings bile to my mouth.

I thought same thing on the engines but not fuel tank, then thinking back to WWII , this is enough to start another, certainly ain't a peace offering. It is however a blend of two ultra reliable vehicles, and who knows, maybe the rear of the subie was written off, as was front of beetle.
So what do you call it, a Bruttle, Breetle, Subawagon (nah, nah)
It could have used that chameleon paint though

Just noticed the beetle gearstick fills the little junk box of the console, and Subie one is in place. Giles, do we nominate a US resident to take it for a test drive...put the Subie in Low , the beetle box in reverse....give it a gutful of revs and then dump the clutch

to fix the whle thing ......

Gotta love the DVD screens for the back seat passengers. Might be to take their minds off the threat of a broken neck caused by the harness tether, or at the least, some nasty chafing...
And the rear wing set for "UPforce". Now that's a performance enhancement if ever I saw one. Especially since they removed any downforce the boot might have provided when they cut that chunk out under the wing.
Mind you, he's managed to turn that thing into a rather convincing Porsche replica... Not sure what model though, or what had run over the one he must have copied.

I hope that it is a skilful photo shop job. If it is real then it needs a Warp 9 144v electric motor in the rear and then it would have a reason to exist as a useful hybrid.

wrong post

I'm guessing the B pillar is some fancy spoiler as well?
No hard top with electric action? Fail!
Other than that I don't mind it too much - that said I wouldn't own one...
Cheers
