What does an ej22 engine weigh?

Just bought an ej22 from a fellow member

and need to ship it from Canberra to Brisbane.
The freight company wants to know the weight so they can charge me accordingly.
Can anyone tell me what this engine weighs?

SEARCH may come up with these figures, seen the whole range in there for this purpose. With or wwithout crutch and fly will have amarked difference. Starting at EA81 without flywheel ~ 60 kgs.

its heavy enough for my brother and I to just manage to carry one with the fly wheel and clutch... They're MUCH heavier than an EA82.

I'd say they'd be closer to the 80kg mark at a guess.

I would agree - I'd say around 70-80 kilos without flywheel. I have EJ22 in the garage and i was able to lift one side of the engine to move it, me and my father in law did lift it out from my wagon.
