Rick (rtcb65) or Brett (Outback Bloke) are 2 people I can think off hand that could point you in the right direction but I'm sure some others are around

You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

There is a place called boxer services in brendale (not quite close but shouldn't be too far) It would be worth giving them a call as they have been great for all my other old subaru needs...not sure on their reco abilities as I am not getting mine done there but they seemed to know the engine inside and out so I am sure they would be more than capable

What are you doing to the engine? Lifting compression, ported heads etc?

well that is a good question, i am not very good with engines so not me for the reassembly. As for what to do i don't know really i probably should have asked that question as well at the start of this thread. i thought a recondition was to basically bring your engine back to its original new condition? But any suggestions on that to would be of a great help to.littlewhiteute wrote:Can I ask who is doing the reassembly?
