Just thought I'd post up some trivia for those that still have EA81 powerplants. That pesky little gasket the cap sits on , bits missing or keeps breaking up on you or not even there anymore. Well, Subaru can stil supply them , and new, they are that flexible :) that they come packaged as a figure eight. Try doin' that with the little blighter under your cap!! Brittle as after twenty years and less.

Steptoe is getting better at uploading images eh??

They are a ex Japan order so need to be that patient you almost forget you ordered, or Christmas slowed things down. About eight bucks each, called a packing and part # is 491237401

No, sorry , it's more like four nights, but motorvated self to get to the key safe, unlock BWumby, to find battery is flat after six months, and fitted up the packing as intended , only six months after I ordered the pair for the pair of EA81's.

Bet that is the first packing you have ever thought of for an EA81 dizzy ?
