What part/s of Australia would you most want to explore ?

If money and time weren't a limitation, what part/s of Australia would you most like to explore in your Subaru (compared to other places you already have) and please separately say why, for each place named.

Any of the rest of the interior that I havnt seen yet
i.e. Simpson desert is top of my wish list (it will be done)
reason being research on viable places that I think might interest me I've traveled a few isolated places in the N.T. And really enjoyed the scenery / lifestyle/people(few as there are obviously) :-)
Such a big varied and beautiful country
So much too see and do , fantastic place

Oh and cape York :-)

I've been fortunate enough to have seen allot of this country, either through work trips or on holidays with the family. Being a member of the ADF means we have been posted to many locations, and in each we try and discover the area whilst we're there.

On top of my extensive list of places still to see are:
Cape York by vehicle;
Simpson Crossing, arriving at Birdsville for the races;
Tanami Track;
Oodnadatta Track;
Strzelecki Track; and
Circumnavigate Tassie.

We have done a bit of travelling through the Kimberley region, and loved it. Would love to go back through there and see more and re-visit our favourite spots.
Willie.

I reckon this question should be the other way around: Which areas of Oz do you not want to visit? In which case I'd reply with: The Werribe Poo Farm - been there, done the tour (very interesting) but no need to go back. As for the rest of Oz, well, I hope you get the meaning of this thread...

And of course I'd want to do it all in my subi :twisted: Won't always be possible from what I've "been told"...

Cheers

Ah yes, Werribee, I drive past twice a day. Lots of bird life but, apart from that, Lake Borrie doesn't have much to recommend it! :twisted:
