Quick post to let the WA guys know I've solved that boost problem I was having. Mainly thanks to OS making me have a little think after hooking up AndrewT's boost controller.
I had the little tee piece in the wastegate line around the wrong way. So the restrictor was pointing to the wastegate, rendering the boost controller ineffective and thus only 5psi everywhere.
Certainly wasn't a complete slowpoke on 5psi, as one VN SS owner found out the hard way. But let me tell you - 12psi is a whole other thing! Really feeling those power upgrades and in particular not having boost taper.
Grinning ear to ear atm, shaking from head to toe. I need a rest.

You'll get your ride. After I smoke your B4. Motorplex soon? I still have some bug ironing, but I'll be killing axles down there as soon as I can. Hope the box stands up to the new-found vitality.
Titanium plate the body?

Hope not, although it seems to hit the top of third gear stupidly quick now. Once I get a good map in the FC and some good huff into the motor we'll see. I think I'll certainly be stretching what an EJ20G is capable of with this setup, next step (if there is one) will be a later model rebuilt motor.
And Baron, its more the brakes that cause brown trousers! I must admit I've stopped shaking now but it certainly leaves an impression!!
Not planning on killing myself any time soon, car will most likely have a nice sleep until the weekend care of the pushy.

Mine's not shiny, it's a genuine K&N with a black K&N sock over it.
I spent money. Yes I did.
