Wrecking 1989 Subaru Vortex

Post by H-top » Wed Dec 08, 2010 10:47 am

Ok, I've got the vortex at the workshop and stripping
it out and it has to go by Thursday .

So post you lists of what you want from the
car and we can sort out a price IF ANY.

All parts are available, the gearbox and engine are already out

other parts of interest are the disc rear kit
with new discs and bendix pads with only 200kms

put all orders in ASAP or it will be scrapped

Cheers all

Very sad to hear but do you have the left and right door mirrors?
You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

Is it common that those high beam switch fail?

I definately need the coolant sensor but not sure on the cluster. Plz keep only the sensor for me.

Huge shame Mate!

It's a 1989 Subaru AX-7 fulltime AWD with selectable centre difflock
it comes with difflock solenoid, shifter
rods and shifter, wiring, gearbox mounts and crossmber.

A complete kit!

the gears are pretty short

These almost never come up and are not getting any more common

I was gentle with it because I knew I would not be able to replace it

$875 is what I want for it.

Cheers

thanks H-top, sounds like just what im after. Would idealy like D/R but could be quite happy in the mean time with that unit until I can mix n match! reasonable price considering comprehensive components to be supplied with. definatley worth a drive (a looonnng drive @ that) to collect.
