Hey guys.. im guessing my fuel injectors are clogged up or something because at higher rpm it seems to struggle for fuel...
my question is.. i have a RS turbo manifold here... will those injectors fit onto the ej22?
If so.. how do i get them out?
cheers

It depends on what year both models are.. RS Turbo uses the early grey injectors and so do some early EJ22s but Gen1 Ser2 onwards use the red injectors that wont swap over.
To remove it tricky and requires some good tools. I've found a specially designed set of pliers that work really well. They lock onto the top section of the injector then it's just a gentle pull upwards. Always best to relieve all the pressure in the fuel rail first so you don't end up with a cylinder full of fuel

true true.. well i think the ej22 is out of a 92 and the rs.. im not sure.. but the rs injectors are grey
would they work in a ej22 though?

If the injectors are out of a 1992 EJ22 then that would be a Gen1 Ser2 so no. The red injectors are bigger in diameter.

I have a spare set of 92 Liberty EJ22 injectors.
