I know, shame to loose it.
Pics to follow.
I miss it already.
Bent to the subframe and can not get
parts for it anyway.
It would never be truly straight again.
I've still got 2 Vortexs, one Im building for a rally
car.
The other is from the kangaroo incident.
I've just got whiplash and 2 days off work.
Thanx all!

I would be interested in the gearbox. What price are you after for it?

Sven, yeah it's exaclty how I feel lol, the spyder opens yours eyes.
RS most likely!
Matt, not cheap as they are rare, complete with diff lock AND solenoid!
One went, bare, linkages, no diff lock - $600 recently
great box, mad exceleration. Short gearing, much shorter than standard L
if it's what your into
Im interested

SO sad:( to hear another scooby (particularly hard to find) is going to Autoheaven. In saying that I am definately interested in the Engine with other supplied bits + gearbox and diff and possibly the seats. perhaps you could advise on $$$ seeking closer to time you are ready to part with. cheers

yeah pretty sad mate.
well it wont be cheap. i spent many long nights in the workshop getting it how i wanted it.
everything is in mint condition driveline wise, i think it has been recently rebuilt.
i KNOW the heads were conpletely rebuilt in july last year.
i also have other spares
spare Spider EA82 VF48 Turbo - Mirror polished compressor housing - ZERO play.
NA MPFI heads with repairable cracks
1989 NA MPFI cams - hottest cams of the bunch
EA82 Turbo Block - Recently rebuilt approx 10k on it
all matter of brackets and bits for EA82 engines
Note also that this vortex has the biggest EA82 engined L series Swaybars produced.
PM me with anything particular you are looking for too.
Cheers

Yeah I wouldn't give away anything that I have personally laboured over, so I would b prepared to pay reasonable wads. At least there are some other goodies available if I miss out on the big one. Oh and I sincerely hope the physical aspects of your encounter don't scar yourself or the others involved. The psychological side is prob bad enough for you..

Yeah I'm pretty heart broken about my baby. Gone just like
that.
Nothing I could have done
