At last I have reverse gear again. I broke it at last years BYB BBQ and have just fixed it yesterday. All I have to do now is swap the rear diff so the ratios match the new box and all will be sweet.

It is going to be strange being able to park the car where I want with out having to worry about being able to roll back out, or climb over the gutter or getting bolcked in by other cars. Even being able to back up to the camper instead of pulling the camper to the car is going to be good.

4wding is going to be just plain simple now. Not having reverse makes you think a lot more about where you drive when you are off road.

I cant believe that you managed to go that long without reverse gear {I do really , it's just an expresion}.
I would like to know how many times you actually forgot and had to push the subi out to be able to get going agin in a carpark . I know I had to do it on a few occasions ,thank goodness that the Subi's are light and not some boat anchor of a Missin or tojo.
