AND run standard 4 speed 4WD box I should add
and just where is the pedal feel of the clutch and how is it?
Mine is at the top, as I suppose how I adjusted the cable and there is no real feel to it just on or off. Does not feel right and I have got same result from a second presure plate i have had in stock

when I had a 225mm clutch in my brumby it was only ever in the middle when I adjusted the clutch
otherwise it was right near the bottom of the pedal or when it was in need of replacement it was at the top
EDIT .... have you checked that the pedal box is in one piece ?

you want at least 20mm of free travel in the clutch pedal.
Check your pedal box like TOONGA said. They can occasionaly break off the shell.

Pedal box is fine, got the 2 to 3 mm freeplay at cable (fork end) and just figure I have two far gone pressure plates and time to pull it out again, machine flywheel and fit new clutch kit and trust problem will be all gone.
Listings suggest that mid 84 to mid 94 Brumbies use 225mm x 24 spline. The clutch kit to match mine would be a 4WD DL, GL goes on to suggest the box and clutch is from an earlier model, pre 84 BUT met up with young Hylton whose 92 Brumby (looks good and drives well - the Brumby, Hylton has a bit of wear and tear

) is just a few months younger than mine by build date, coupla hundred VINs younger and same with serial number on gearbox same part number. Safe to assume I have original box and clutch listings are incorrect. Clutch man pulls out a listing for mine, on the box says suits L Series and Brumby. Bit of a comparison and we work out why he has two in stock - he ordered one for a Brumby according to the book and needed to order the correct one once proven wrong. Clutch supplier says they sell heaps and not had problems with their listings, developed list with help of a known Subie wrecker. Someone has confuseed things and it ain't me, after all this stuffing around on my other clutch post.
Had a test drive of Scamp or was it Scruffy's clutch - feels like a real one - helps make decision to eventually renew clutch at my leisure.

Yeah it was Scamp, Scruffy couldn't make it the water was to deep without a long snorkel.
Your clutch is definitely not well.

Sorted with new clutch, machined flywheel and new bearing slider sleeve and clips. Feels great to the left leg judge
