EA82 re ring in car ?

hi, is it possible to re ring a carby/ea82 in a subaru sports wagon , while the engine is still in the vehicle ?

NO, reason is that the gudgeon pins need to be removed via ... OK, maybe yes if you remove gearbox, as the access hole is rear and front for the pins and you would be very lucky if you could also pull the pins out in-situ. If you try please utube it

lol why would you bother? It's an incredibly easy/quick job to pull an EA82 out of the car.

welll, ya are right ... i`ve pulled engines outa , holden,ford ,valiant,saab,mazda you name it , but this was the first time i`ve pulled a EA82 outa a subaru , this is THE EASIEST engine i`ve come across to pull out .. period...!!!!
