Oh dear... I just bought a 2nd Subaru (and my L isn't even fixed yet!)
Seems I have become a Subaru junkie, still waiting on the delivery of heads (just in case) for my L series and I succumbed to the temptation of a jacked up EJ20G(?) Liberty wagon. She's down at my local mechanic waiting on a roadworthy at the moment, hoping to take her for a spin before the end of the week - see how it compares.
Strange thing is the EA82T L series seems to be more of a giggle to drive.
I think he had the boost set low on the Liberty, but still...
Should I be worried? It drives fine with no noises or weird behaviour, just not all that astoundingly impressive power wise. (Mind you, didn't stop me from buying it!). Maybe a power to weight thing? Maybe I didn't want to wring the neck of his car while he was in it? Not sure myself. I'll find out soon enough I guess.
Just had to share!:-D
While I am here I would like to thank everyone for putting up with my incessant questions. I'm sure I have been pretty irritating but you have all made me welcome and been most helpful. Thank you to all who have read or answered my questions. Sincerely.

Just been looking at two plastic boxes that look very much like milch crates - full of alternators and auto starters with notes on them relating to their stuffed status. Thinking I could make at least two good ones with some new brushes .... or their scrap value and that of a few batteries may just pay for a new reco to hoard - in less space!!
I think I have to stop collecting spares.
There is a virus in here but it ain't a computer virus

Too right it is!Captain Obvious wrote:is that the one at caboulture? not a bad ride if it is, and you will love it!! i love mine!!!!

I checked it out ages ago but my tax return was a bit disappointing so I had to pass on it. When it reappeared for sale I weakened and couldn't resist.
All it wants is a D/R box eventually, but apart from that it seems to have all the good stuff already.
Have you encountered this one before?
ps Just for interest's sake - the EA82T heads arrived today, I bought them on the word of an interstate auto wrecker and they are in great condition. Was waiting for cracked heads to show up and was pretty relieved to say the least. He did leave out a couple of other unrelated parts from the delivery tho. So now I have to see what that is all about.

havent seen the car myself but have seen it on the net a few times and looks like a well done conversion.
i have been running a dual range behind my EJ20t for years now, so it is doable just NO big launches or like.
