ok so im looking for a boot lid, rear bumper and lhs tail light to suit a 96 wrx

what im wanting to know is what years/models share these same parts?

from my quick bit of research i think its from 94' to 00' that are the same. correct?

also is the standard impreza from those years the same body shape but just missing the rear spoiler? im thinking a wreckers will sell a standard impreza boot a bit cheaper than a wrx boot. mayb.

if you have any of these parts sitting around and want to get rid of them let me know

Hey Matt.. you're sorta on the right track with regards to the years of the classic shape Impreza.. Boot lid and Tail Lights are all the same, except STi and import tail lights are different to Aussie ones but if you use both you'll be ok. However there was a change of styling to the rear Bumper. As of MY97 onwards they looked slightly different and remember that only the WRX and STi had those spoiler pieces stuck to the bottom. You can fit your spoilter pieces to a standard bar if yours are still ok? Hope this helps

ok so ive found out its actually a 97 model! was told it was a 96. my rear bumper is damaged but easily reapairable, its only the metal bracket inside that bolts the bumper to the car that is buggered. totally twisted. are these all the same through 94 to 00 with any impreza?

The metal frame is called the bumper reinforcement and yes they are all the same from 1993 to 2000 (Classic Shape - GC body code)

thanks jeff, currently got my eyes on some parts bit closer to home. but the shipping is still nearly as much as the parts!!
