Always take the opportunity. ALWAYS!

Was in SuperCheap during the week for drive belt issues, waiting for the guy to tell me which belt he thought I needed (never happened) but in my wanders I saw they had a nice shiny new Gregory's No. 501 Service and Repair manual. Thought to myself hell yes, when pay day comes around, I'm picking that up! This was Tuesday, get paid Wednesday nights. Thursday night I was doing the belt whilst beering it with a mate, so tonight I took an early minute from Uni, headed to the shop to pick it up.... gone.

Moral of the story is, for those that have read this far, always take an opportunity when it arises, never hesitate when a good thing pops up because you never know who else is waiting to snatch that good thing away from you. My mission for the weekend now is to track another one down in Adelaide. But I rarely see them. Any ideas?

P.S. I have the digital copy of the engine and parts sections, but... its not the same.

give it a week an it will be back on the shelf, when one thing sells it automatically gets re ordered.

The Gregory's manual is rubbish, buy a second-hand FSM from eBay...

There, saved yourself $40 :)

A uni students wallet may not stretch to the $150 rate of the factory manuals. Kep an eye out for swap meets in your area, usually a few old blokes set up stalls with boxes full of different old car manuals.

lol cheers sven, I managed to track one down for only $30.

So far it has been very useful. I can see its not as detailed as the factory manual but for what I want its great. Found a nice timing light for $60 aswell, productive weekend.
