Beautiful Brumby. I like the two tone Outback style paint scheme, suits it well.

Can't wait to see the final product, and I'm hanging out for the exact specs too

I think i noticed a small run in the paint somewhere near the DS door but it may have been the shadows of the trees.

The pic does wonders for it. It is not "quite" as straight as it looks. It still has plenty of "pre-loved" dents when you look along the side of it. Also has more runs than Adam Gilchrist in the drivers door. You'd think by the 3rd paint job I would have got it right.

It does look pretty good from 15 paces though.

I put the box in it today. For now it is just a Lib dual range, but that will be changed pretty soon for a 4.111 low ratio low dual range Lib box that we are building. I have got a 3.900 GDB STi mechanical rear diff that will be in there for the time being, well atleast until the ratio swap any way. Then if I can find a crown wheel to suit, I will change it to 4.111. If not I will swap it for one of the 4.111 lsd's we have here now.

I have the EJ20T front cut in the garage that is getting stripped tomorrow to donate the motor for the cause.

I have the 14 inch Marquis with 27x8.5 khumo muddies on it 'til it is registered, then it is getting the 15 inch Superlites that are sitting out the back with some 28" hankooks.

I am changing the complete wiring loom to the Lib turbo loom. I have already fitted the Lib steering column to make the loom fitting a little easier. Also fitting the climate control from the front cut. Power windows are already in and working from a donor coupe that I bought.

I have an Apexi 280ps tuned computer on the way from Japan to run it. Until it gets here it will just be the standard JDM RS computer.

3" kit is all but in now. Just got a few mods to do to suit the EJ gearbox cross member.

I tinted the windows the other day with 5% "Limo" rear window and legal (ish) sides.

In-case any one is wondering about colours, the red is L series "Polka red" and the "outback" colour is "Warm grey opal" from a 98 outback limited colour scheme.

The bottom of that hood reminds me of Superman's logo. How about a big 'S' somewhere :D

EJ20T.... care to elaborate a little more? Are we talking new or old, mild or wild?
