distributor screws / threads

Post by Spin » Thu May 13, 2010 3:11 pm

Anyone know the screw thread details for the screws in the distributor of a Brumby that hold the points in place. There are two. Are they metric?
I have tried ordering new ones but got a call from Subaru saying they are now no longer available. Everyting on the subaru is metric right? Spin.

Nothing mysterious. Basic old 4mm (8mm long, or so) metal screw. Pull a couple out of somewhere else on the car where they're not needed, or pop down to the local "industrial supplies" mob, Dick Smith store, wrecker...

If you can't find any in the next day or two, PM me with your address and I'll post you a few.
Steve.
