Hello all. I've just registered here. I am currently the very happy driver of a 2007 2.0l Liberty. My novated lease ends in early July and at the moment I am torn between re-leasing my current Liberty or taking the plunge with a newie.

I would love to hear the views of anyone who has acquired one (I would be looking at the entry-level model).

Is it true that Subaru will no longer factory-fit Sat Nav unless you get the top of the range (which is way too pricey for me)?

Nice choice of vehicle and glad to hear you're looking to stick with the Subie Not sure how many members here have the new model but I know we'd all love to have one.. personally I'd go for the Turbo Diesel model

Thanks Paul. I heard that about the Sat Nav but there's no reference to it on the Sube website (unless I'm going blind). It's no biggie - if right I'd just get a Tom Tom or something anyway.

yeah.. TomTom are good as you can take them from car to car whenever needed

For me I'd stick with your current subi unless you've got some sort of gripe with it...

I say this because I personally don't like subaru's body shapes in the current line up - they're much bigger than a subaru should be IMO. To me subi's have been a car that are small to medium in size, the new ones are outright large - too large!

But that's my opinion, you'd need to check it out to see what you reckon and to find out what will suit you best in the long run

I felt like making an epic bump to this thread to say that we own a 2010 2.5i Premium Liberty. We love it except for the small list of problems we have had with it.
If i remember correctly it was a 2-2.5K extra for the satnav and Reverse camera, but it is well worth it.

And yea i know that this is a bit late to post this now, just posting for anyone else looking and who finds this thread

Whats this small list of problems?

Personally i think their big and ugly, perhaps the new forrester? which by far is the nicest looking car in the subaru range.
