gen1 series 2 vs gen2 series 1???

hey folks

how can I tell the difference in say a '94 lib whether it is a gen1 s2 or a gen 2 s1? Will it tell me on the plate next the the front suspension?

Gen 1 Series 2 VIN will start like.. JF1BC (sedan) or JF1BF (wagon) and the Gen 2 Series 1 will start like.. JF1BD (sedan) and JF1BG (wagon)

the shape is different and same with the dash etc
its known that Gen 2 started Nov/Dec 1993.

I think you'll find it's closer to Sept 94.

hahahaha.. I know what you mean but for people that don't know and you're trying to explain it over the phone to someone that has no idea then it's easier to use the VIN code to get the correct model :)
