new clutch. how long to wear it in?

hey all, i got my car back yesterday from getting a new clutch put in it, i got a light weight fly wheel and a heavey duty clutch put in.

I am just woundering how long/ how many kms that i have to do till it is worn in?

Previous rides: 1998 rx liberty sedan, 2007 mitsu 380 and now a 2005 foz, lifted with bigger and black wheels ( Got rolled :( ) and now a 100 series land cruiser.

clutchs dont really wear in, it should be ready to go strait away.

yeh, that is what i thought, that is why i asked, the mechanic that did it, recons to give it atleast 100kms before puting to much pressure on it, or going offroad, or towing ect....

yep.. ready to go straight out of the box :)

Just try not riding the clutch too much.. try and use the handbrake on hills more instead of the clutch :)

Not that I know of, should be ready to go straight away just as long the flywheel is machined properly, Brakes needs to bed in when they're new... that what I know about.
