Those Visitor Messages that we get in here - do not come up as Personal Messages, rather when or if we go into edit the User CP (stands for what?) , you might notice a message of some weeks or months that you never saw before. So, my apologies to those who have sent me a VM - I rarely see them, never go looking for them

Same here, sometimes I see something that's been there for months. Pretty useless feature I rekon but it came with an upgrade to the forum a while ago.
User CP = user control panel.
