s13 = death the worst safty factors i ever seen in a car. The average guy could pull / tear apart the 13 welded joints / rails. You can pull the sils in together very easy

I own one 100% race car with full welded cage & tell every one looking to buy one other that a race car you need to have a big think about what I am saying.

dont buy any of the S group of cars , walk into any wrecker in Qld & have a look a crashed S seriers, you will see with your own eyes

yeah thats so true.
But i'm only a P plater, so I won't be driving it hard and it will be non-turbo as i'm not allowed a turbo until i'm on my opens!

Silvias/180s are rubbish. your link dont work btw. stick to the subes, you wont regret it, as you may with a silvia.

Early Skylines like R32s are better things than early S series cars , and that's after you lose the SR20 for an RB six .
I could never figure why people put RBs in Ss because they then weigh about the same and don't handle as well .
There was a version of the RWD R32 that had an NA RB25 in it and they show up from time to time . Having no VCT in R32 form the head off this one drops easily onto an RB30 short and in time the sky so to speak is the limit .
Twin cam RB30s in turbo form can easily make enough grunt to destroy any production based Subaru engine ever made .

The sheer volume of new/used/second hand parts for R32s is phenomenal . Bigger engines and gearboxes go bolt as do hubs/wheels/brakes from some quite impressive machinery . Just about every conceivable mod has been done before and well documented on the net .

If I wanted cheap performance without the dryer this is what I'd do .
