Think so, the ej I pulled from a '90 legacy had a production date on the vehicle of 5/89..and oil cap says '89.

sad? Go EJ! Go EJ! People say. The EA81 went from 79 to 94 in last Brumby. it had a few mild changes. The EA82 from 85 to 94? as well, with a few changes - 3 gens of heads in mpfi and turbo, and some got spider manifold.

Sort of a tongue in cheek reminder that to go EJ may mean you can get a twenty one year old EJ and may have similar problems we get with same age and older EA82's and their components. But a good run from the EJ and its variants over the time.

No, the Production of the Legacy Started in 1988 for the Japan Domestic Market (JDM) only, Exports begun in Late 1989.
