springs for 95 lib wagon

have put some forester struts in my 95 liberty wagon gx and the back struts are self levelling but the springs didn't fit so have the original liberty springs in there with the forrester struts. heading to moreton and will be loaded to the hilt so wondering whether it is worth putting some heavy duty outback springs or some towing liberty springs in the back. wondering what the best way to stop the back from dragging in the sand..(although it has never done this before but it will never have known such a load as planned for moreton
