What type of LSD is this?

I have this 3.7 LSD, not sure if I should put it in my 4EAT car, it may put too much pressure on the trans? not sure...

Does anyone know if it is a VLSD, or a Clutch type?

Speak up if you want it, as I am pretty sure it is surplus to my needs...

My best bet would be a factory clutch pack LSD... Can't say I've looked at many LSDs though.

Cheers

I am really hoping this 'swaps for heads' thing works out, Guyph-I guess take that head off and see how it is, Outback Bloke is checking if he has some (if there was a fingers crossed emoticon, it would be here) so we can go from there...

Your transmission in Liberty would be 4.11 ratio wouldnt it? you'll need to change the pinion & crown to 4.11.

...they MAY have cracks, or DO have cracks?

Im not worried about dirty or valve condition or surfacing, I can do all that myself, they just CANNOT be cracked...

Guyph, can you please clean up the area between the valves so I can get a better look?

Ok i will do that tomorrow. How do you want it cleaned? And how not to clean it???
Tell me so you know how its been cleaned to your standards:)

well it needs to be cleaned between the valves, cracks should show up then, as they will have carbon in them. try using a scotch pad, moving it vertically between the valves, so as not to clean carbon out of any crack.
