Post by Rabbitoh » Thu Oct 22, 2009 7:06 am

Does anyone know if there was ever a rear window louver made for a leone coupe GLF as I am after one, if so does anyone know where one can be obtained? Thanks.

I'd guess Aunger made an external (black plastic) one back in the day but not much chance of getting one new now. I don't recall seeing an internal one fitted on any MY coupes...
1989 Brumby - Shiny new red paint, stroked EJ20 phase 2 SOHC with Darton sleeves bored to EJ22, Wiseco high-compression pistons, Delta 2000 grind cams , EJ/XT6 5 stud with WRX 4/2 pots, 5-speed, 86 GTS seats and so much more.
Contact me for reproduction XT6 hubs...and EA82 rear discs.

They were made as I have one on my coupe. Black plastic from Aunger as suggested. I got mine from a wrecker that was about to crush a coupe.

The Subaru accessories listing for 1982 lists the rear louvre for the sedan (part number SA 154) and 4WD (part number SA 155). But nothing else
I have an Aunger on my 82 wagon and like mentioned by others Aunger probably made one for yours.

I sent an email to Aunger for some assistance, hoping that they may be able to make one up.

Some guy had internal ones on his drag liberty!!! Go figure... I'm sure you could have one made up for either internal or external - or knock a fiberglass one up yourself, just a thought.

Cheers
