Brumby floor matt alternative....

Post by kevmif » Sun Sep 13, 2009 10:22 am

Hi all,

My floor matt is shot and I don't want to use carpet or pay to get one moulded up. I also still get a little bit of water inside when it rains.

My brother came up with the ultimate solution for his F100 - he painted the floor with that black tar stuff that dries hard. Seems ok to me - would this be a good idea for my Brumby? Are there any negatives with taking this approach? Will there be any roadworthy issues with this (VIC)?

Thanks.

Yeah I was worried about that - guess I don't know the product well enough. My thoughts were that it would need to get very hot to actually start melting. Any alternative products out there?
