Sound insulation
Sound insulation
So has anyone tried, or knows of good material to use for sound insulation in an L series?
I am aware of that silver stuff that Jcar sells, but I am looking for something more heavy duty and better insulating.

to try and stop road noise? or to try and make panels not vibrate with music?
as far as i know the silver stuff jaycar sells helps to stop vibrations by basically adding weight to whatever you put it on
you can also get spray and brush on body deadner too.. very messy tho
to try and stop road noise you need the carpet underlay like the multicoloured felt
and as goes with everything i spose.. the more the merrier so go with both types over everything you can get yer hands on

I tryed some of that in my engine bay once... looked great until i degreased the engine bay and it all came off. Be aware that some brands of the stuff does wash off with degreaser.
