Hi all,
I have a 1989 brumby with 275k on the clock, it has a rust problem in the doors near the hinges on the inside, also where the cabin joins the ute floor plus other panels, it has three months rego and i have been told it will battle to pass rego again. the car is very straight, it has an undamaged bull bar , tow bar, both front guards, bonnet and tailgate have no major rust that i can see. the motor, gearbox etc are sound, if it was not for the rust i would keep it, but it has, and i would like to think it could be an organ donor to keep other brumbies alive and well for years to come, i tried to place an add in the for sale section but i was denied access to it. i am wondering if there is any call for utes such as mine and what sort of money are they worth. i have had a best offer sign on it on the highway here in Ulladulla nsw for a couple of days with heaps of calls and offers up to around $500, would this be its true value. I would be thankfull for any help i can get.
Regards
Dash
