Not sure if anyone is interested in the Targa but there is a subaru in third place overall after the second day. Dean Herridge came on strong at the end of the day to overtake a group of evo's. You can follow the stage results at http://www.targawest.com.au and on the results tab.
In the Competition Classic class there are a few Ford Escorts that are doing when behind a group of Porsche's and a Datsun 240z. It got me thinking that if an Escort could do so well then why not a 1981 coupe or sedan with a worked EA81 and running AWD. With a few suspension tweaks, I reckon it would be competitive.
Who knows, maybe that will be my next project
Cheers Rob
