I have a 97 Legacy GT twin Turbo, I think I may have got some bad fuel in it, my mechanic has drained the fuel and we are back on the road no troubles. I was wonder does anyone out there know where you can get your fuel tested? Is it an expensive process and what fuel is the best fuel to run in my car?
Any help would be great

I would run BP ultimax 99% of the time and find it to be very good , get more k's per tank as well.

What exactly do you want to test it for?
INTERTEK offer laboratory services to the petrochemical industry in Australia. Buckman Laboratories may also be of assistance.

I want to get the octane level tested and also for any form of contamination. I have destroyed one engine and the second engine was detonating like crazy, so we dumped the fuel and solved the problem, but I want to be sure that the fuel was the problem before I take it any further.
