a few weeks ago, someone had an EA82T for sale with browns engineering welded heads?
I think it was being sold with a harness as well, minus AFM...
Anybody know who, and if so, can you contact me?
cheers.

Yeh just like the one,s TAMBOX sold me, recoed too... garranteed no cracks...they were cracked and f#$ked....i am a mechanic of 30yrs and vehicle/mechanical inspector of machinery cars trucks etc....it p#$sed me off, when you sell items that are not as specified...some one will f$%k you over for it sooner rather than later. you get away with it a couple time,s when your young..then you hit the wall.

the combusion chamber was fine, held pressure etc, but not the cooling system.

the worst area was the drivers side. the top front head stud area had cracks. coolant was getting in to the oil!!!

coolant must have been also getting in to the exhaust area as well.

total disaster. certainly no business of mine is going to browns.

anyway - did it used to be your engine or something?

no, i was looking for the thread to inquire to buy it, ironically for the heads!
So, is the usual cracks between the valves an issue or not?
