Brumby Windscreen Seals

Hi all,

Decided today to clean up the interior of the Brumby as it badly needed it and also to repair the wiring for the interior light and resecure the back interior panel. I found that water had been leaking into the car from the rear window and also the windscreen. Are new rubber seals available for both windows.
Also what door light switches are best to use to replace the old ones as mine are stuffed. Is there any better seats to swap the old Brumby ones without doing major mods?

Cheers,

G'day RX coupe!

I'm sure you can still get the rubbers for each window - check ebay, they usually have the windscreen rubbers for sale somewhere. I've never looked for the rear one.

As for the door switches, I grabbed a set from an '84 touring wagon, they were a much better design - these ones can be cleaned unlike the units they were replacing that were all inclosed. They were a direct swap, no chopping or changing of wiring either ;)

I haven't looked into seats, but someone here will know.

Cheers

Thanks for that Bennie, I will have a look at U-Pull it tomorrow.

I got front seal from Oz Auto moulds and rubbers in Victoria.
I'm in W.A, they were terrific, had it to me in a day or so. They may have the rear one.
