Going down the Subi Path....

Hey all,
Decided today that im going to give up my VW Bora 4motion and step into the subaru game. I was looking into the 2005 2.5 gt and 3.0. They both look good but am unsure which to go for. Can anyone tell me the differences (other than the engine sizes). Also if anyone wants to go the other way and buy my VW feel free to email me.
