Well today- after a few hours spent giving the car a wash- I decided I would test the structural integrity of the lense covers of the passenger side indicator. Needless to say, we did eventually reach breaking point.
The damage done is some scratching on the mirror- quite deep- and a popped lense. The indicator assembly itself is not damaged.
Does anyone know whether the lense is available as a seperate item or will I need to replace the whole bloody mirror assembly (hope not!!)? As it is, it'll need to go to the body shop for a new spot of paint.
Very embarrassed with myself, but hopefully you guys can help me out.
The car is a MY08 Forester and I have attached a photo. I have sent an email to the dealership but as it's out of hours I'll be waiting for a response.
Thanks in advance.

I am not sure here, Maybe you could ask an wrecker but since its fairly new car, Subaru dealer, is the best beat to start with.
How did it get damaged? was it automatic car wash?
