Hi there, i have a twin turbo wrx motor and i had an idea to put it in a subaru outback, does anyone know if this is possible like will it fit & will it be able to handle it, and can it be done without permits as i think outbacks are 2.5L or so. i have an impreza Lx but its only a 1.6 and front wheel drive so bit hesitant to put the twins into that one, but would like some advice before i sell the impreza for an outback .
cheers

A twin turbo will fit in an Outback engine bay. It is actually the Legacy/Liberty body shape that the twin turbo came from not an Impreza. Do you know any history on the motor?
Do you have more than just the motor? Like the wiring loom, boost/sequential controllers and intercooler?
