Hi, have just joined up and am about to enter the world of Subaru...
Father-in-law is giving me his '86 brumby in a couple of weeks. Haven't had a subaru before - mainly early model Holdens and a few VW microbuses (4 kids..)
Pic attached.
thanks

Welcome Cam,
loads of Brumby addicts here mate.
These are glorified VeeDub motors and are a joy to work on.
Sing out if you have any questions.

Sweet! Another brumby owner on the forum... I'm not one of them but I do pretend to be one, I'm sure you'll find the thread on Sunnie - the work continues...
Have fun with yours, I'd love to have one.
Cheers
Bennie

Thanks all for welcome. I'm a member of the FE/FC Holden forum too and it's been a great site for info and the rest, so no doubt this Suburu forum will be as gd.
Here are a couple more pics for anyone interested. I think it was sold in Roma or Dalby. Father-in-law has had it 4 or 5 yrs. There's a few pensioner scrapes and a beauty on the passenger side - in fact it has been written off! - thats why it's a freebie to me.
Drives really well, pretty nimble little thing, makes my Holden 1 tonner seem like a John Deere tractor
