Took the kayak out for a fish on the GC this morning, caught some nice fish, including a 40cm bass on 4lbs line ( good fun! ).

Loading the kayak back onto the roof and I slipped and put the end of the kayak straight through the side window of the canopy and diced my knuckle.

Quite a cool fishing spot, canals not accessible by boat ( unless you live there ) and are right where fresh meets salt, so there's both fresh and salt water fish. If catching bream and flatties and bass in the same body of water isn't enough contrast how about :-
