I have disconnected the original controller whatever it is and installed a manual one. Instead of adjusting the manual to lower the boost would it be okay to just connect the hose back to the original one..

I know that sounds stupid and answers point to yes but im asking as i would rather ask a stupid question than it cost me a fortune in repairs...lol

Yep just reconnect as it was before, follow the pic you have and all will be good.
