Hey

Any thoughts on what Sunraisers would look like chromed??

I was thinking of getting done done??

I believe a year or two ago there was a group buy for a set of these. Have a look in the group buy section, re-set the time of post to "beginning" and have a look in there - they should have a pic of the rim only that was available for the group buy which has obviously now closed.

I don't think they'd be exactly sunraiser pattern but pretty close...

I got a quote to get my Speedy 'Desert Rats' chromed a few years back. Quote was roughly $80-100 PER rim! So I thought, bugger that....

If you were still keen on doing it....I would strongly recommend getting the 'Scorpion' rims chromed. Coz its easier and cheaper to get a one-piece welded rim done than a two piece rim. Sunraisies and Desert Rats are two piece and to do it properly they need to dismantle those rims then re-assemble.....so I've been told anyways.

ive seen the 13" ones done looked very good for some reason
