ok so here we are talkin of putting a tent on the top of the roof to sleep in when we head for the cape and possibly any other place we might camp before hand, ive been looking at a site called hannibal there are some realy good lookin stuff there like the impi but the price is a bit not what we are looking at paying like over 3 grand.

so there are some tents we have been looking at that go up top on the roof some of them have a tent that folds out as well below the one on top of roof so that you have a place to sit in out of rain etc, but some of them are just a tent on roof with a ladder ide realy love to hear if anybody has this type or has tried it out? rain etc does it mean when packed down when wet that mattress gets wet? .
anyway let me know if anybody has tried it out ?or any ideas its just the two of us so no dramas just wanna sleep up high mostly and then can get full usage of inside the brumby .cheers

As for the mattress getting wet, just carry a $2 tarp & cover the mattress when you pack it up. I do this with my camper trailer.
