We take it for granted that installing a lift kit is a minus for fuel consumption at highway speeds.
Here interesting article http://www.autospeed.com.au/cms/A_2455/ ... larArticle

Maybe theres things you can do - apart from reducing your top speed by 10kmph:cool:

Also found an interesting new forum

Hehe. I've been at the ecomodder forum for a little while. They're a bit weird there, but you can learn alot about little things that you can do to save fuel money.

I was planning on putting some kind of under-body aerodynamic panelling to smooth things out. On a petrol car it would make a small difference, but on an EV it would be an even greater difference.

but the weight of the panneling will probably cancel the benefits... unless you have access to carbon fibre ;)

lifting cars definately effects fuel consumption. you notice it straight away

The rear blocks must add some wind resistance as they stick out like a sore thumb, Al sheet would be the way to go, not much extra weight.
....tis all academic to me atm:rolleyes:.

money and time spent would surely negate any savings made. Unless your doing it for the environment.
