HELP WANTED WITH PAINT CODE 254

The under bonnet sticker lists the paint code on my 92 Brumby as 254

The ute is white, all over, under bonnet, door trim, everywhere !!

The description of this number on the paint shop software says it is Heritage Beige on 80 to 84 models

The name does not suggest WHITE to me, more like that Beige colour so many MY and L series came out with

Have you got a factory white MY, Brumby or even any 92 model with a paint code sticker with 254 or something else ??

My tailgate has been repaired and is waiting painting

Thanks,

no sticker with paint code on Sunnie.

One trick I've been told is to take the lid/cover/door off the fuel filler cap and take it to one of those joints that can make a colour from anything you take to them. It'll be the closest match to the car as it has aged the same as everything else...

The other option is to grab any white you like and do a full respray. Go on, you know you want to

Cheers

Good idea, thanks for the tip, used it Bennie ! Fuel flap door is body colour.

I think I have found evidence that one of Fujis staff made an error. The 254 paint code has a lot of yellow pigment in it too much to be white ! It is factory white !

I found Sunnie's paint code sticker - its the same as GL-5's above... Sunnie is an '88 build but an '89 plated unit...

Thanks for the efforts. I gave me painter your code and with some fiddling he got it right...now , for the rest of GRUMPY to be so slick in 2Pack ....

tailgate looks mighty fine now, no fork lift fork mark to be seen or felt!
